The Company

Manor Community provides person-centred rehabilitative care and support to help people achieve their goals and aspirations through Community Care, Supported Living, Residential Care and Homecare.


Manor Community was established in the 1990s by a specialist psychiatric nurse called Muriel Chester. For a time, Mrs Chester provided support for people in her own home under what is now known as an Adult Placement Scheme. After many great successes in helping people gain their independence, Mrs Chester opened a small residential home for people with mental health and later for people with learning disabilities, helping people on their journey to a more choice driven, fulfilled life. Mrs C, as Muriel was affectionately known, lost her battle with Sarcoma Cancer in 2010 and Sophie and Deian took over.

The Brief

Manor Community has been a valued client of Website Sorted since 2010. Initially, they approached us to revamp their logo, design business cards, create a company brochure and craft a website. Recently, they heeded our advice to update their website and transition to an SSL-secured, fully responsive platform. The objective was to give their brand a modern facelift, tap into the growing market for mobile searches, and ensure compliance with GDPR regulations.
