The Company

Shaw Lifetime Care is owned by the charity The Shaw Foundation. 


They provide an innovative funding solution designed to help individuals and families requiring residential care in old age, but wishing to avoid having to dispose of a home in order to pay for this.


Their solution, the Care and Home Inheritance Plan, is known for short as the CHIP®.


In line with the principles of the charity that owns them they aim to improve care and accessibility of services for older people in the UK, they exist for the benefit of individuals and their families wishing to use the CHIP® solution to defray the costs of residential care while retaining ownership of a home.


Excess funds generated by their activities are returned to the parent charity to further enable their work in providing care and accessibility for the older generation.

The Brief

Shaw Lifetime Care were referred to us by another Website Sorted customer. Their existing website was very dated and in desperate need of modernisation. 


The website design needed to offer clear messaging and offer broad appeal to a wide potential customer audience. We were asked to include a blog to publish industry news, auto update social media feed from Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and integrated reviews from Google and Facebook.


The website build must be search engine friendly and include an intuative, simple to update content management system.
