Ecommerce Website for Labrador Rescue Charity

The Company

Labradors in Need main concern is to match the Labrador with the new home in the hope that it will be a lasting relationship and so they may appear fussy when you’re applying to adopt one of their Labradors. All potential adoptees will need to successfully pass a home check, where a series of questions will be asked about your lifestyle, and the security of your home & garden. They also recommend you make the effort to meet the dog on a couple of occasions to ensure it’s the correct Labrador for your family. This, they believe, reduces the adoption becoming a failed one.

The Brief

Labradors in Need required a multi functional site that allowed them to promote upcoming events, attract volunteers, offer opportunities to foster, adopt or rehome labradors using integrated galleries and blog functionality and dontaion options.


The website design was based on their existing branding. Key requirements included the ability to easily update the website content themselves, integrated Ecommerce system to sell charity merchandise online as well promote their online donation feature and registration for upcoming fundraising events.
